      Thursday, May 17 – The latest birding news, with Marshall Johnson of Audubon Dakota. Today we visit with Wick Corwin, Audubon Dakota board chair and Fargo Falcon Project leader. He’ll update us on the downtown nesting falcons. ~~~ And the state is home to several birding festivals. We’ll have a rundown of those events from Ron Miller (Fargo Birding Festival) and Ron Martin, who has new of other events around the state, as posted by the North Dakota Birding Society. ~~~ Todd Melby recently interviewed Dan Valley, district manager of stations for Amtrak, about the impact the oil boom is having on the rail service. It’s part of our Black Gold Boom coverage of the situation in the oil patch. ~~~ Bill has What’s Happening this weekend.
